Yuzu Labs ("Yuzu," "we," "us," or "our") provides software that helps teams turn sales conversations, emails, CRM records, and related business context into useful follow-up, content, and deal intelligence.

This page explains the categories of information we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us about privacy requests. It is a practical summary for the Yuzu marketing site and product, and it may change as the product changes.

Information we collectLink to heading

We collect information people provide directly, such as names, work emails, company names, form submissions, scheduling details, and messages sent to Yuzu.

Customers may also connect business systems such as CRMs, call recorders, notetakers, calendars, email systems, or storage providers. When they do, Yuzu processes the customer-authorized records needed to provide the service, which may include call recordings, transcripts, emails, notes, deal metadata, contacts, account information, and generated outputs.

We also collect ordinary website and product usage data, such as device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, feature interactions, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.

We use information to operate Yuzu, provide requested features, generate customer-authorized outputs, respond to inquiries, schedule calls, improve reliability and product quality, protect the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

How information is sharedLink to heading

We share information with service providers that help us host, secure, support, analyze, or deliver Yuzu. We also share information with integrations that a customer authorizes, and when needed for legal, security, or business-transfer reasons.

We do not treat customer conversation data as public content. Access is limited to what is needed to provide and support the service.

Google user data (Gmail and Calendar)Link to heading

When you connect a Google account, Yuzu asks for only the permissions below, and uses each one only for the purpose listed.

  • gmail.send: sends emails you approve in Yuzu, from your own Gmail address.
  • gmail.readonly: reads messages to identify replies to emails sent from Yuzu and emails from your deal contacts, shows those conversations on the related deal or contact, and lets you search your mailbox through Yuzu's assistant.
  • gmail.compose: saves a draft in your Gmail Drafts folder when you ask the assistant to write one. You review and send it yourself.
  • calendar.events: shows upcoming meetings next to related deals, and creates, updates and cancels meetings you create in Yuzu.

What we store. For email related to your deals, we store the sender, recipients, subject, date, thread and message identifiers, and the message body. For calendar events, we store the event details. For the connected account, we store an access token and a refresh token. We do not store email that is unrelated to your deals or contacts.

How we use it. We use Google user data only to provide the features above to the user who connected the account. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it to others, except as needed to provide these features, to comply with applicable law, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business, with notice to you.

AI processing. To draft replies and answer your questions about conversations, we send email content to our AI provider, Anthropic. We also use Langfuse, a tracing service, to log these requests so we can monitor and debug the feature; those logs can contain email content. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models, and our agreements with Anthropic prohibit it from training on this data.

Who can see it. Synced email is visible in the app only to the user who connected the account. Message previews and AI-generated summaries shown on a deal may be visible to members of your workspace who have access to that deal.

Retention and deletion. We keep this data while your account is active. You can disconnect Google in Settings, Email. Disconnecting revokes Yuzu's access at Google and deletes the synced email and calendar data; emails sent from Yuzu and drafts are kept. You can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion, email emmie@yuzulabs.io.

Yuzu's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

RetentionLink to heading

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Yuzu, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Customers may request deletion or export of their information, subject to contractual and legal limits.

SecurityLink to heading

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and respond quickly when something needs attention.

Your choicesLink to heading

You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of personal information. Depending on where you live and the relationship we have with your organization, some requests may need to go through your employer or another Yuzu customer administrator.
